In a world where art, design, and sustainability intertwine to create unique and inspiring spaces, we had the pleasure of interviewing Daniela Covato, the creative mind behind Thea Studio and Art Director of Pentastudio. With a background in architecture and a passion for fashion, Daniela has brought an innovative perspective to space design, creating places that challenge conventions and embody timeless elegance. In this interview, she takes us through her world of design, exploring the importance of greenery as a design tool, the influence of fashion in architecture, and the marriage of shapes, colors, and sensations.
Thea Studio is my personal studio, and I am also the creative director of Pentastudio. These entities encompass a wide range of projects, including residences, hotels, executive offices, and commercial spaces. We collaborate synergistically to meet our clients' needs.
Certainly. We are working on an executive hub located near the golf courses of Casal Palocco, an area characterized by greenery and landscape constraints. Designing the outdoor environment is crucial to ensure integration with the surrounding nature while providing internal functionality for the client company and additional services.
Greenery is essential both in outdoor and indoor areas. It must contribute to health and well-being while also stimulating the mind. We use various solutions, including artificial and stabilized elements, to add an artistic and natural touch to the environment.
Fashion and architecture have influenced each other for decades. The key is to find a balance between aesthetics and functionality. It lies in the ability to create shapes and styles inspired by fashion without going overboard. Currently, we are developing a line of fashion-related furnishings, which we will present at the upcoming Salone del Mobile.
My key word is always "fashion and design." These concepts are deeply rooted in my design philosophy.
The interview with Daniela Covato has provided us with a privileged insight into the world of interior design, where art, design, and sustainability harmoniously merge. With a passion for fashion and a keen eye for nature, Daniela has demonstrated that it's possible to create extraordinary spaces that meet practical needs and embrace timeless aesthetics. Her innovative approach and constant pursuit of eco-friendly solutions show that design can be both beautiful and sustainable.
