Fabrizio, can you briefly explain what FAD's work consists of?

FAD is an architecture studio in Rome that specializes in the renovation of various types of buildings. We like to tackle diverse challenges, both in the residential sector and in directional, retail, and logistics areas. Our mission is to improve people's quality of life through innovative and identity-based solutions.

Tell us about one of your most significant projects, such as the directional complex in the Torcervara area.

One of the projects that has been giving us great satisfaction involves a directional complex located in Torcervara, in the Tiburtina area. This building was an old, uninviting, and devoid of greenery directional structure. We started with the redevelopment of the outdoor area, creating green spaces, green barriers, and socialization areas. The transformation has been remarkable, and now we are renovating all the offices internally.

Greenery seems to be a key element in your projects. How do you integrate greenery both inside and outside the buildings?

Greenery is essential for us. In the Torcervara project, we have created green spaces, green barriers, and even green walls in the offices. Greenery must be an integral part of the project from the beginning, not a late addition. The effect is extraordinary, and greenery makes spaces more welcoming and livable.

The FAD studio is demonstrating how architecture and urban redevelopment can improve people's lives through the integration of greenery and innovation. With projects like Torcervara, they are transforming former industrial areas into welcoming and sustainable places. FAD's philosophy, based on dialogue and the fusion of ideas, is an example of how architecture can bring positive changes to our cities.
